These are tough economic times for businesses and consumers alike. As our community recovers, plans need to be made to help support that recovery and sustain growth throughout the years to come. The Small Business Place is committed to helping the smaller retailers and service providers in Dufferin County with that growth. We have created our Shop Local... Shop Dufferin initiative to provide businesses with direct, inexpensive advertising and exposure through events within the community. With the help of other local businesses and community leaders, we believe we can shorten the economic recovery time for the companies in Dufferin County and give them strength to grow for the future.

The Orangeville Holiday Gift Guide and Show is the first venture in our new Shop Local campaign. We want to encourage residents of Dufferin County to keep their shopping dollars in the community this holiday buying season. Our Gift Show, in combination with our Gift Guide Publication, is sure to get shoppers to the businesses in our community rather than frequenting businesses outside Dufferin County.

Our Gift Show will take place at the Orangeville Mall, Saturday November 27th from 10am to 6pm and Sunday November 28th from 12 noon to 5pm. Our vendors will be made up of local businesses that sell quality items for anyone on your shopping list.
